I have a ton of music videos without onscreen titles and I want to put titles on them, kinda like the Mtv ones in the bottom left corner saying the song title, group title, what album it's from, and what year it's from. Also, I've got some videos where the audio track is for shit, I'd like to delete the audio track and replace it with another one. I'm getting TMPGEnc 3.0 Xpress, but it seems kinda 'not user friendly' if you know what I mean. What program do I use to do this stuff? I'd prefer freeware or shareware but I'm willing to pay for it as long as it doesn't break the bank.
I found one program that looks like it'll do it and it's also for video editing called VEGAS VIDEO but they want over $400 for it.

"What do you think it's like being created by a manic-depressive, paranoid schizophrenic, hypochondriac, misogynist with delusions of grandeur and a messiah complex?"
You could do it in Adobe Premiere, but like Vegas, it isn't cheap.
But it is easy to use and you could probably synch up the audio channels, since you could show the original and eyeball putting on another one since it shows you the highs and lows visually below the video frames.
I would suggest finding a friend who has one of the high end programs and trading favors for a few hours of time to do what you need.
What you want to do isn't that hard, just time consuming, especially if you have to digitize anything.
There is almost no scenario for the home user where upgrading RAM will not help. Especially if you're running a reasonably modern OS on it (i.e. Windows 2000/XP). But even if you're running Windows 98 or Millenium, 128MB RAM is nowhere near enough.
