I am getting extremely mad.... (worse than usual)

If I connect to the internet, sometimes two icons for healthcare and credit problems get put on my desktop, and on my favorites folder, there are links to inappropriate sites...

can anyone help?

Although I am not a big fan of this software. Get yourself AdWare, it's free and it will clean out most of the spy junk.

Secondly, stop installing P2P programs (Kazaa etc.) That is how most of it gets there in the first place.

Lastly, Welcome to the Wienerboard.

He meant AdAware. You can also try Hijack This. Good luck.

And Spybot: Search and Destroy.

Also, make sure that you're up-to-date in Windows Update. There are certain vulnerabilities in IE that can allow malicious web sites to screw with your Favorites, but I think most of those holes have been patched.

Something funny. When we were in Ireland in about 1990, we learned that nonenglish speakers were being sent there to learn english because the Irish spoke better english than the English.
