This was great.

Okay... so the last few episodes have kind of left me flat (hence, no thread last week), but this was the type of episode that Community really does oh-so well. A clip episode that featured clips from episodes that don't exist. And even, at one point, clips within clips within clips of episodes that don't exist.

I thought this was brilliant - right along with this year's Halloween and last year's Modern Warfare episodes.

Oh, and unrelated note... I really don't need Paul Reiser doing a clean version of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Couples deserved a longer run.

Abed doing The Cape was the best. SIXSEASONSANDAMOVIE!

I'm meta. No, you're meta. This whole thing's meta. It's a meta within a meta. I really hate that word.

No kidding. Perfect Couples: best new comedy of the year. FU, The Paul Reiser Show.

God. Magpie's nest-assembled Winger's speech. What an amazing thing this was. Not sure what to add. Quick Shapiro, say something fake smart. Quite the postmodern exploration of not only "clip shows" but of the very nature of television narrative storytelling and the world contained therein, wouldn't you say. 'cause I would.

Also I want to quote the line from last week where Tobolowsky said "Who was the boss?" Done.

I really liked this episode...and at first, seeing the clips i hadn't seen, I really was questioning myself that I had seen all of season 2...well done.

I've been really glad I gave this show a chance this season...after taking a crash course with season one on DVD...I'm hooked. I think it's finally done enough to surpass The Office as my my must see show every week.

The only thing I don't like about the Thursday lineup is the half hour between Community and Office, and the other half hour between Parks and Rec and Outsourced. I've tried 30 Rock...I just don't see the funny in it.

I really, really love fake clip shows, and this was no exception. Everything was pretty solid (and meticulously put together), but without a question my favorite part was the montage of Jeff speeches at the end, along with all the different situations that the group had gotten themselves into. I do wish we'd gotten more of the Christmas episode from everyone else's perspective, though. The one quick scene wasn't enough for me.

I need to go back to watch it again, but I am pretty sure the diorama had Chang standing outside the windows looking into the study room. Outstanding. Plus, the treasure trove of monkey items - Pierce's sombrero from their first project (or was it Britta's frog sombrero?), Annie's purple pens, even Annie's Boobs herself.

It was, and it killed me. There was so much to like about this episode, but my favorite touch was that the diorama they were making was of them making a diorama. Brilliant!

If you think Couples is the best new comedy, I'd invite you to watch Raising Hope and Traffic Light.

I do, and I really like both. But lb. for lb., it's Couples for me. That cast is too awesome for one show (yes, even Olivia Munn).

    Who was the boss?

A week late, but have a sufficient amount of people complained about Abed being a Who's the Boss expert when he previously stated he could never get past the credits?

Or we could assume he immersed himself in the show to prepare for the class, no? (Give the man a "No-Prize"!)

There were so many great lines in this episode.

"Is this a new steroetype?"

"I have chemistry with EVERYONE."

"Six seasons and a movie!"

"I know these vents like the back of my chang."

"Give me a beat Troy"

"I have seen enough movies to know when you pop the back of a raft it goes faster"

Everytime I think this show has hit its peak, it proves me wrong.

Life is hilariously cruel.
