What a great midseason (first semester) finale. Lots of great religion-based humor ("Everyone's religion is weird. Let's stop talking about it"). Loved Annie insisting everyone "say the whole word" and Abed's "I get 72 virgins in Heaven."

Remember in the first couple of episodes when Jeff was seen by the study group as the coolest guy ever? He's not seen that way anymore. It happened so gradually, I didn't even notice. I think it started around the time he lost his apartment and started living with Abed.

The fight B plot was also really good, especially the big throwdown at the end. [Rewatch realization: The bully was ANTHONY MICHAEL HALL?!]

Britta: "The real reason men fight is to release their pent-up gayness." Did I ever mention I like pro wrestling?

Merry happy! A major EOTYC. I really needed this after the Steelers game. "Tired of the dean ramming his PCness down my throat" is one of the greatest jokes since Arrested Development.

I never realized it was Anthony Michael Hall either, but that makes sense because Pierce said something about how the bully was worse because he used to be a nerd.

Also I didn't get the PCness joke until Jeff praised Pierce for letting it slide. Then I thought about it and burst out laughing. Great episode!

Hall has actually been playing tough guys/bully types for ages, going all the way back to his role as Winona Ryder's abusive boyfriend in Edward Scissorhands.

That joke also has the added bonus of playing off Chevy Chase and AMH's National Lampoon past.

Kirk, crackers are a family food. Happy families. Maybe single people eat crackers, we don't know. Frankly, we don't want to know. It's a market we can do without.

The fight scene was epic.

Has Pierce always pronounced Abed's name with a long A?

Troy and Annie not knowing who Billy Joel is makes me feel old.

The cut from Jeff asking Abed why he was decorating Troy to Jeff wearing a funny hat and singing along was hysterical.

Great episode on a night of great episodes.

You believe me, don't you?

Apparently I am totally wrong, and dancing on the ceiling is waaaaay cooler than psy dancing powers.
