The title isn't a typo. I'm only mentioning one book this week because of it being so fucking horrible, it doesn't deserve to be mentioned with anything else. Of course, I'm talking about SUPERMAN/BATMAN #50.
WOW! This was about as fucking horrible as it could ever get. These hollywood fucks Mike's Green and Johnson really dropped the shit bomb here.
The gist of the story is that Jor-el, Superman's dad, transported Batman's dad, Thomas Wayne, to Krypton before it blew up and told him everything about sending his son Kal-El to earth. This leads to Thomas Wayne using Krypton technology to help build Wayne Enterprises. This also alludes to Kal-El supposedly being adopted by the Waynes when he reached earth.
You know... I think I need a break from all comics for a while, cause this disgusted me to no end.

SUPERMAN/BATMAN hasn't been a quality title in years. I doubt anyone takes that series seriously anymore and I don't even think DC does at this point. If you want to be outraged about anything related to Thomas Wayne, read the first issues of Batman R.I.P., which has the potential to be much more damaging to the Bat-mythos.
Don't give up on comics just yet, as there are still quality titles forthcoming. Speaking of which, I'm off to pick up Reign in Hell #1! Review coming soon!
This has been one of the slower weeks in comics for a while. I gave DC the icon, based on the quality of: BLACKEST NIGHT: SUPERMAN #1: Ok, I'll admit, I didn't expect much out of the tie-ins. This turned out to be a fairly good horror story.
