Have fun crying on your wife's shoulder. Better start praying Frankie Muinz is a Hollwood draw. (Or that Dan Reeves really loves you.)

| #3 Posted on 8.3.03 1029.46 | I still get enough flashbacks to that pick he returned against the Eagles in 2000 to stop me from totally panning the guy.
But he was a Giant and ergo an object of hatred whos ugly mug I wont mind not seeing line up against the Eagles twice a year.

I saw the thread title and saw Phil's name as the originator. It could only have been this subject.
The only lasting problem is the $8 million salary cap hit the Giants must take. Ouch.

It should be interesting to see if anyone picks up Sehorn.

I hate Jason Sehorn. He was an overrated, injury prone, no good has-been. He's just another fool who I don't have to deal with twice a year.

| #7 Posted on 10.3.03 0728.55 | Well - the leading rumor is that Sehorn will go to the Falcons as Dan Reeves was the person who drafted Sehorn and Reeves is in love with him.
Dean is fearful that Parcells will get confused, think it's Everson Walls, and sign him.
And pieman - look at it this way. He had three years left on his contract. So that would have been three more torturous years at what would have ended up being more money (especially if you factor in the $1 million bonus he was due).
Plus after his little manifesto over the weekend, I think a billion dollar cap hit would have been worth it to get rid of him.
On another side note - it seems that the Giants were only really interviewing Douglas to mess with the Eagles as they pretty much knew they couldn't afford him. Roosevelt Colvin though.....

Oh, don't get me wrong, Phil. I wanted Sehorn gone as much as the next Giants fan. I was just pointing out the dollar hit the club is taking. I concur that it would be worse to spend the millions AND have him acutally playing as well.

| #9 Posted on 10.3.03 1148.56 | First off, let me just say the Bears letting Colvin go is obnoxious and causes me to want to stab Jerry Angelo in the head with a homemade shank made from 1985 Bears McDonalds collector cards of Otis Wilson and Wilbur Marshall.
That said, for Dean's benefit and assuage his fears:

How could he mix them up...they wear totally different numbers ;)
