I'm not saying it's right, but OSU does travel like nobody's business. The last few times they've been to the Fiesta Bowl, there's been a sea of scarlet & gray.

That said, I'd be all for Boise v. Utah. I can't help but think it'd be a fun game.

Remember, Ohio State is not really in play for the Fiesta. The 'safe' match-up for them to go with would be Texas vs. Utah, which would leave Ohio State in the Sugar (after the Hawaii fiasco the Sugar isn't touching an outside team if they don't have to) against the SEC runner-up, and if I'm going to see Ohio State vs. an SEC team again I'd rather it be in the Citrus/Capital One Bowl vs. Georgia.
I can see the rationale for going Texas/Utah by the Fiesta, as the Texas fans would travel and it would give Texas a shot at claiming the AP top spot should they beat an unbeaten Utah and the BCS title game be a snooze won by Oklahoma.
Boise and Utah have both won the Fiesta Bowl in the last 5 years, and it would have the draw of the two top non-bcs teams being unbeaten and having an opportunity to face each other on the big stage.
Now, watch Missouri pull a K-State against Oklahoma and put Texas in the national title game and put Missouri into the Fiesta Bowl.

Actually, both CBS and ESPN are predicting OSU vs. Texas in the Fiesta Bowl, and Alabama v. Utah in the Sugar Bowl.

I'm rooting for Mizzou in the title game, but wow does OU's offense look unstoppable right now.

Ladies and gentlemen, the following public service message is brought to you by your friends from D-Generation X, who would like to remind each and every one of you that if you're not down with that, we've got two words for you...

I disagree. If Alabama beats Florida in the SEC championship (a result I think is far more likely than the alternative and that most of you are thinking), the Sugar will be all over themselves to get Utah, because the "Urban Meyer Bowl" would be the ultimate way to maximize Utah's drawing potential.

While the switch from Cena to RVD should alleviate some complaints, the inevitability of the belt's return to Cena (note where Summerslam is this year) and the poor initial showing by the new ECW are enough to keep the indicator where it is for now. The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future.

IF Florida loses, they shouldn't even make a BCS game. Tech has 1 loss, Florida has 2. Ohio State shouldn't be making a BCS game either after getting destroyed vs USC already. But, they both will. Is it fair? No. But that's life. Hopefully, Tech shows up for the Holiday Bowl because Oregon is a really good team when they're healthy.

Florida and Ohio State don't impact Texas Tech, the 2 team rule knocks them out when Texas and Oklahoma/Missouri take the 2 Big XII slots. Same thing happened to a Top 5 Wisconsin 2 years ago when they ended up in the Citrus/Capital One Bowl with only 1 loss with Michigan in the Rose Bowl and Ohio State in the BCS Title Game.
I'd think Tech would be perfect for the Cotton Bowl against either Ole Miss or LSU.
If I'm Florida State, I'm hoping Nebraska, but I'm dreading seeing Oklahoma State.

Actually if it's not Nebraska the rumor is it would maybe be Missouri. I'd be fine with that too. Oklahoma State, yeah not so much.

Well, that sucks. Tech deserve a BCS game. They will destroy their bowl opponent, more than likely.

Would have been but the Gator decided to take a Clemson/Nebraska matchup today. I...don't get it but ok. So it's probably the Champ Sports Bowl against Wisconsin or Minnesota. Bleh.

Champ Sports Bowl against Wisconsin, book it. Gator took Clemson because they felt Clemson/Nebraska is a better matchup and Clemson would draw more fans.

They took Clemeon because the FSU game in Jaxsonville earlier this year didn't sell well so they were concerned the city was tired of seeing fsu play. I think nationally FSU/ Nebraska would have drawn more interest due to their history but oh well.

Now to get get Auburn and Lowder to back the help away from Jimbo.

I just saw this today and thought it was one of the more brilliant jabs at the BCS I've ever seen.

BCS DECLARES GERMANY WINNER OF WORLD WAR II, US Ranked 4th

After determining the Big-12 championship game participants the BCS computers were put to work on other major contests and today the BCS declared Germany to be the winner of World War II.

"Germany put together an incredible number of victories beginning with the annexation of Austria and the Sudetenland and continuing on into conference play with defeats of Poland, France, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium and the Netherlands. Their only losses came against the US and Russia; however considering their entire body of work--including an incredibly tough Strength of Schedule--our computers deemed them worthy of the #1 ranking."

Questioned about the #4 ranking of the United States the BCS commissioner stated "The US only had two major victories--Japan and Germany. The computer models, unlike humans, aren't influenced by head-to-head contests--they consider each contest to be only a single, equally-weighted event."

German Chancellor Adolph Hiter said "Yes, we lost to the US; but we defeated #2 ranked France in only 6 weeks." Herr Hitler has been criticized for seeking dramatic victories to earn 'style points' to enhance Germany's rankings. Hitler protested "Our contest with Poland was in doubt until the final day and the conditions in Norway were incredibly challenging and demanded the application of additional forces."

The French ranking has also come under scrutiny. The BCS commented "France had a single loss against Germany and following a preseason #1 ranking they only fell to #2." Japan was ranked #3 with victories including Manchuria, Borneo and the Philippines.

Muhahahaha!
