Guess we've slowed down a lot over the years on football talk, but let's give this a try anyway. How did I not make a thread after FSU won it all last season? Or did I and I forgot? It's all a blur.

I enjoyed watching Georgia pound Clemson, but I'm not sold on what the Bulldogs are yet. Clemson looked like Clemson, in that over the past few years they just aren't mentally tough. You can pound them or get them discouraged and they fold. Maybe it's conditioning, maybe coaching, but all the experts saying Clemson has a "great defense" have me scratching my head. Love Dabo saying this loss showed him "Were good enough to win in any environment, against any team out there." Like last year when they would have won 5/10 against FSU. Such a putz.

I hope Georgia can finally put it all together, but Richt being Richt, they probably blow it somewhere. Again.

Speaking of teams that have a habit of folding/giving up late in games, hi Miami! Al Golden is not a good head coach.

A&M sure was impressive, probably more so than any team to me this weekend. Though I still doubt their defense, that team may rip up the SEC this year.

Bama has the same questions on defense it did last year, but with a maybe less reliable offense. No way West Virginia should have been able to hang that close.

I was at the OSU/FSU game, which was fun, when it was over. The offense can play better and likely will. The defense I'm not worried about yet. Here's hoping Okie State was underrated. More concerned with us having the worst punter in the country for the second year in a row. Nothing the Citadel can't cure on Saturday.

FedEx Field, where the Redskins play, holds 91,000 people. The Cowboys stadium is going to hold 80,000 for regular events, and only reach its full capacity for special events like the Super Bowl.
