What if they tried to have a debate and only two candidates came? Well, silly, obviously you find *other* ways to use your precious air time!

I especially enjoyed the final paragraph. Read on, from Business Wire via Google (

Sept. 30 California Recall Debate Canceled; Statement by CNN and Los Angeles Times

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 25, 2003--The Sept. 30 debate announced by the Los Angeles Times and CNN has been canceled. We invited Gov. Gray Davis and the three leading candidates who achieved the support of at least 10 percent of the voters in Los Angeles Times or Field polls. Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante and Sen. Tom McClintock accepted the invitation. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Gov. Gray Davis declined.

In light of the fact that we believe that California voters are best served by presenting the views of Gov. Davis and the top candidates, we have canceled the debate.

The Los Angeles Times and CNN will continue to aggressively cover the recall election.

I don't blame CNN for dropping the national aspect of this, but a one-on-one McClintock/Bustamante debate would be interesting. These two guys are numbers 2 and 3 in the polls and have diametrically opposed views as well.

Yes which is why I said," that the Palestinians are somewhat worse and the Israel needs to stop using assanination as it's major political solution." Nowhere in the world is there "goodguys". There are badguys though.
