His current theme song is by Killswitch Engage. It's called "This Fire Burns". It's from the WWE Wreckless Intent cd.

Wasn't that the song that they tried to give Randy Orton?

Yes. Fits much better with Punk's character, IMO.

I hate to say this, because the words just look wrong, but I miss AFI.

I couldn't care less if Killswitch Engage or AFI dropped off the face of the planet tomorrow, but at least Punk's music stands out. As far as entrance themes, besides him and three or four others, ECW is starting to remind me of WCW.

Why? They just released a new album about a month or two ago. They're also touring.

I should have been more clear. AFI's "Miseria Cantare" was Punk's entrance theme in ROH, and it was awesome for him, especially live.

The song didn't seem punk to me. At all. Or am I just completely out of touch with what "punk" entails these days?

And, wasn't it the theme song for "King of the Ring" or one of the other SmackDown PPVs a few months ago?

Yeah, definitely not punk. Not a straightedge band either. But I think the track works for his character; I especially liked how, after winning the match against Credible, he mouthed the words "I will not fail!" along with the song. Nothing big, but a nice touch.

They're part of what you might call the "Metalcore" scene from Massachusetts, along with Shadows Fall (who did RVD's theme) and a few others. The singer is straight edge, but I don't think the rest of the band are. I met them when they played over this way on my birthday, some of the nicest guys you'll ever hope to meet.

Wasn't that Breaking Point who did Rob Van Dam's theme?

They do the one he actually uses, there's a Shadow's Fall reworking on Wreckless Intent.

Lead singer is an Edgeman. Doesn't make the band edge but at least one member of the band is edge.
