The NY Times is running a series on class in America. This past Sunday was a general introduction with a lot of info abotu how Americans see themselves (College grads view themselves as Middle Class regardless of occupation or income, for example.) Yesterday, they followed three individuals after they had heart attacks. The differences in the level of medical care they received was incredible. Here is the general link:
All those old barracks (The ones they showed in the video were known as the "new" barracks back in '76) in the big training forts are in trouble. Ft Leonard Wood is still using barracks constructed as Temporary during WWII. Same for Ft Knox.
