I saw it one and a half times (long story involving a guy who wouldn't shut up during the movie getting into a fight with my friend in the theater, so we were able to watch it again at the next showing and finish the movie) but overall I found it worthy for what it was trying to be: a violent, monster action movie spectacle. Likely, there will be complaints about the many changes they made from the original Clash of the Titans.
"I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will release the Kraken."
Saw that on the Onion comments and thought it was hilarious.

This actually sounds kinda bad ass and I might need to see it sooner now.
The power went out during the intro and it re-started five minutes later, we got free passes though which was cool. I liked it, I am not a giant fan of the original, so I was cool with the re-telling. The scorpion fight at times looked too much CGI. The rest was pretty damn good to look at. I am not thrilled with a more emo Perseus instead of the wide eye dreamer in the first one as well as changing the love story. IO was hot though and it would have felt tagged on if he ended up with the princess who he meet for a total of five minutes. A lot more straight forward then the first one and I hope the DVD has more deleted scenes, felt it was a bit too short.
CHUD has a fascinating article about what was in the original Clash shooting script, what was changed in re-shoots and post, and what the original intent of the writers and director was:
I liked the theatrical version of Clash just fine for what it was, but I have to say, I'd love to have seen the movie as it was originally intended.
Maybe if there's enough clamor for it, some money will be tossed in towards a Director's Cut Blu-ray or something so we can see this version of Clash of the Titans as described in the article.
