On topic, I've mostly heard good things about this game.

I wanted to get it but my friends told me of City of Villians. From what they were telling me it sounds pretty sweet.

City of Villains is more than a year away, though, and you'll still need City of Heroes to play it. As fun as the game is already, I say "why wait"?

Same here. I'll probably get it when the Villians game shows up.
The reason I'm waiting is because CoH will be a lot cheaper when CoV comes out. I've got plenty of games to keep me busy in the meantime.
