I disagree. Lucas is worlds above Nolan (hello Darth Maul!)

I like Nolan movies to an extent, but am often annoyed by his poor direction of action sequences. I thought the Inception, shifting gravity scene was a sign that he had overcome this, but the gun fight in the snowy place that lasted 3 days showed me he wasn't.

I thought he got around it with The Dark Knight, cause he basically avoided fight scenes (dude can direct a car chase, imho), and thought that was a great movie. Don't bother with The Dark Knight Returns tho. It's the worst of the trilogy. Joss Whedon made him look a fool.

Well Nolan was showing realistic fighting while Joss was playing with Gods, Monsters and a shit load of CGI.

I don't want Tony in as Director of CTU because he should be out kicking ass in the field with Jack. Wouldn't Curtis be the more likely choice to replace Driscoll, if she indeed leaves? I'm really interested in seeing what the REAL master plan is.
