Oh Jesus. Christian looks butt awful generic with short hair. I got so disgusted I had to stop eating my quesadilla. And to think he was all so happy yesterday at the PPV, all championy and long-haired and stuff. BOO.
This is a tragedy and I hope Jericho has some no-cutting-hair clause in his contract because this madness must end today. 5-19-2003 NEVER FORGET
The only thing I enjoy more than doing the crossword puzzle is actually finishing it.
Awww..... It's not that bad. In fact, I think he looks more mature with the shorter hairstyle. I'm sorry, but I think the 'long blonde hair' thing is a little on the old side and I think that it looks great on Christian. Hell, I remember when HHH got himself a nice trim and it looked great on him-- He's due for another.
Maybe I like short hair because I'm an Army brat, but I just love the short hair on Christian. It looks a lot healthier than that stringy mess that was thin at the ends. It's also like him moving toward filling The Rock's role as People's Champ. Remember when Rock held the IC Title and started being a heel? It's suits Christian's role right now.
But I'm totally with you on the Jericho thing. He should never touch that golden mane of his. Neither should Edge or Kevin Nash.
At first I was nervous because well, he almost reminded me of Bud Bundy, LOL! But, considering his new fashion sense, I think his trim is great, and I dare say, when you look at him, then you look at Test with the same style, you can easily tell who has the personality. Good on him, I say.
NOOOO! What the hell have they done?! I haven't been this pissed for...well I don't remember how long it's been since I was pissed. I still love Christian, but his hottness factor just went WAY down...
If Vince pressures Jericho to cut his hair, I'll be the first to burn his house down...
Undertaker cut his hair in December 2001 and the world stopped turning for a brief, soul-searing second. All else pales in comparison. ;-)
Seriously, I think Christian does look sharper with short hair. (So did Taker!) He'd been in a rut for a while, and if they are going to make him more than a transitional IC champ, he needed a major makeover. Until I saw the haircut, I figured he would drop the belt within a couple of weeks.
I always found him to be one of the coolest guys in the WWE. He always stops and acknowledges people when they shout out to him, and always waves and yells back and stuff. He's one of the best "bumpers" there, and I've always thought he was the most "ECW-ish" of all the WWE-bred guys, in that he can put on a banging show.
I had to crack up when he did the "shout out to my peeps" bit with Jericho, complete with the heart-banging thing.
I find it funny that he waited until he got the IC Title before cutting his hair. Didn't they ask all these guys to do it a while ago? I'm glad he waited until WWE showed a little more faith in him by giving him the IC before doing it. It show's me he's not a kiss-up.
The difference between him and Test is that Test has NO personality - or at least nothing they've been showing on TV. I liked Test when he was Steph's b/f and wrestled Shane-O, but that's about it.
I don't think Christian's haircut makes him look like Test at all. They both have short blonde hair, but that's all the similarity I see. I think it looks great with Christian's new "champion" look. I just wish his street clothes didn't look like they came straight out of my closet! First Spanky had my fuzzy red shirt, and now Christian steals my pants - what's a girl to do?
It looked better this week than it did on its debut. Don't know if it's just a week's worth of growing out & not looking sooo freshly cut, or if it's been shaped/fluffed/moussed a little differently. I wasn't getting the "mini-Test" flashes that I was at first. Maybe it'll be OK after all ...
I loved this show! I had every reason to because I was there in the crowd. It's been a long time since I've been to a live show, but I'm so glad I went to this one. I had a blast. The crowd was really fired up right from the beginning.
