I hope he is treated well on his return as well, but I hope they don't overdo his return as I feel they did with HHH. | dskillz

| #4 Posted on 14.2.02 0104.37 | Benoit was on Combat Zone on Much Music last week with Rick Campanelli. He talked in his monotone voice for awhile and then put Ed The Sock's bitch Da Scientist into the crippler crossface and made the bitch tap.

| #5 Posted on 14.2.02 0134.20 | | I don't know, I imagine if Benoit at least got the same hype as HHH did for his return it would throw him right into the main event picture. I suppose we'll see where the WWF wants to put him by how much hype they put into his return. | whatever

| #6 Posted on 14.2.02 0712.54 | It would be nice to see if they can get him hyped back up properly. I remember when Benoit & Jericho were after Austin last summer & he hit the *10* rolling suplexes - tore the roof off the joint. He could have held the title then, just as I feel he could've/should've won against the (c)Rock earlier that year.
All I can think is that Jericho finally got some title gold, now when Benoit returns it's time for his title saga. Just give him some proper buildup so everyone will buy into his title win/reign.

I was upset when Benoit had to leave TV after his main-event match at King of the Ring. He and Jericho had built up enough positive heat at that point that either man could've left that match as the WWF Champion and it would have been believable. And just as Benoit was finally getting the main-event push I'd been dreaming of for him, he had to have surgery.
...Sigh. Well, hopefully when he comes back, he'll spring right back into the main-event mix.
By the way... I don't give a damn what Mick Foley says, as far as I'm concerned Benoit did win the WWF Title from The Rock... twice. Just as I'm equally convinced that Jericho is a two-time WWF Champion. It may not say so in the title histories, but both men had their hands raised at the end of those matches, and dammit-- the referee's decision should've been final.

| #9 Posted on 16.2.02 1513.22 | I don't think they will make as big a deal as they did with Triple H, but his return will be noted. It's harder with Benoit because it wasn't like Triple H where he had one specific injury during a match.
It will be clutch time for Benoit and I hope he makes it happen. If the NWO is still the talk of the Fed when Benoit returns, he might be lost in the shuffle.
