What a tragic story.
Chiefs player allegedly shoots girlfriend (in front of her mother), goes to Arrowhead, kills himself in front of Scott Pioli and Romeo Crennel.

Why didn't Vince stop Over the Edge 99 after Owen? Why didn't he call off that one In Your House after Pillman died?
If I were running the NFL, I don't know if I'd call off the game.
On the other hand, If I were a player for the Chiefs or their opponents, I don't know if I'd play. But that's me.

The Chiefs wanting to play the game doesn't make it right.
I will give them credit for playing pehaps their best game of the season. I figured Carolina would get an easy victory today.
I am curious how this story will play out in the media, compared to the Benoit story, which is, off the top of my head, the last notable athlete murder/suicide.
