I didn't realize they were moving the draft, or had considered it. Either way, this seems like a cool thing to do especially if it keeps the Jets fans away.

I'm surprised it took them this long to start doing this.

After thinking about it, I wonder if it will be another thing where every year it's awarded to a different place, like the Super Bowl, or perhaps reward the Super Bowl winning team's city by hosting it the following year.

on the negative side, as a Bears fan, we already know that the dumbest Bears fans in the world will show up, with at least two dressed up as the "superfans", possibly with Coach Ditka in tow.

We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

As if I wasn't bummed enough that Free Comic Book Day is on Derby Day every year, now I have to contend with the Thursday/Friday/Saturday Draft jacking w/my marathon of Derby drinking/partying that starts on Thursday night too.

Glad they're moving it around in location tho, just wish it was on a different weekend.

Mrs Sec19Row53 has already asked me how we get tickets to this event.

We can't wait! And no, there will be no cheeseheads worn by these two fans.

Both are great ideas.

Because of size requirements for the location, it would probably be best for the league that they send out requests for bids every year (like for Super Bowl sites) just to guarantee they have a big enough location that has the hotel infrastructure.

I SO don't like the Pack. Maybe it has a little to do with being a 49er fan. Oh well. I'll root for Freeman at least as you go off to face STL. I only know that I can change; everything else just stays the same. ...
