I flipped across this last night, on ESPN Classic I think. It was the two "brother" comedians that show up on a lot of the VH1 clip shows. They were giving an old Mid-South show the MST3K treatment...poorly in my opinion.

But the matches caught my attention. A VERY young Ted Dibiase had an impromptu match with The Great Kabuki(!) among others....

There was also Bob Orton, and someone I didn't know vs. Jim Garvin and Kerry Von Erich.

Other than the annoying comedians, the matches and wrestlers brought back some memories...good and bad. Does anyone know if they always do wrestling? Or was that just a one time thing?

The tease for next week's show said it was going to be a thing about the 82 Cal-Stanford game, so no.

I caught that yesterday too, must have been the tail end though....I saw the Iron Sheik do an interview, then I saw the beginning of an Iron Sheik/Buddy Landell match.

in case anyone else is interested, like me, I looked up the replay dates for last night's episode:

Cheap Seats
ESPNCL, Wed Feb 11 07:00pm

Cheap Seats
ESPNCL, Wed Feb 11 10:00pm

Cheap Seats
ESPNCL, Thu Feb 12 01:00am

now my yahoo tv listing settings are set to PST, i'm not sure if ESPN Classic's feeds are split or if it's just the same feed for the whole country.

You wanted the best, you got... Out of Context Quote of the Week. "Orton's facials were perfect, I must say." (Ringmistress)
First off, it's Randy and Jason Sklar. And they were funnier on Battlebots, as far as I've seen from the ads. Hope they reair this one, though.

Their best work, far and away is their stand up though. In their own estimation, and I think they're right, they are ranked in the top 15 amongst young identical twin Jewish comedians.

Did they even try to hide the fact that the leprechaun was nearly 6' tall? Speaking of which, how is it that Chris Jericho never once ridiculed Goldberg, Big Show or Kevin Nash for having been trained by a leprechaun?
