-Chavo Guerrero suffered a torn biceps in the first move of his match with J.R. Ryder last night at the Velocity taping. He will be undergoing surgery later in the week and will probably be out of action about six months. The last word we had is that there will still be a ladder match, but the decision hasn't been made as to who will team with Guerrero. Best bet should be Benoit.
I would never, ever wish injury upon someone, and I feel lousy for Chavo getting hurt. Honest. I love the guy goin' back to his WCW Pepe days.
But I hope this gets Eddy away from the tag ranks and back into a significant singles career. I have the same hope for Chavo upon his return. Both of them are too good to waste time training Team Angle on camera.
Of course, by "significant," I don't mean "losing to A-Train and Big Show every week."
1. Chavo makes a quick and full recovery. It really sucks that its happened now ahead of what I would have been a really top notch ladder match at JD.
2. This thread manages not to follow the pattern of the similarly based Batista thread last week. ie "Chavo must be roided up to the 9's if he's torn a muscle". A little bit more sympathy and a little less cynicism can go a long way you know.

problem is if they put eddy back in singles, we'll have all of one tag-team in the division. Unless Vince follows through on that nostalgia kick and brings back the teams of Backlund & Morales, as well as Crusher & Bruiser.

Or the Road Warriors could just scoot over to Smackdown. Hey, you think Team Angle jobs too much now...

Is it me or has Shelton Benjamin hung out with the RAW roster lately? Specifically Harvey D. I am abroad and seeing shit late, but I just saw Team Angle's promo on the Brock/Train Smackdown, dedicating their backlash match to Kurt. Shelton looked absolutely stoned.
Didn't Kevin Kelly do play-by-play on Heat, back when it first started? More to the point, didn't he suck? I seem to recall that being the general consensus at the time. But I'm getting old, so senility is a possibility.
