We were up at our usual early morning hour today (kids), the sound was muted on the tv and I saw all the clips on the news and guessed he had passed. I'm sure AMC will be showing all of his movies in a loop for a bit which is great, but I'm hoping whoever has the SNL re-runs will re-show the ep he hosted. Although I must confess that I would want to see it just as much for Paul Westerberg being the musical guest (and the hilarious/sad bit at the end where Mr. Heston can't remember Paul's name for the outro).
R.I.P. Mr. Heston.
It is a good rule in life never to apologize. The right sort of people do not want apologies, and the wrong sort take a mean advantage of them. P. G. Wodehouse (1881 - 1975), The Man Upstairs (1914)
I was laughing so hard I was crying. The "one-sided fist fights" bit and the Transformers stuff was just amazingly funny. There were some clunkers, but the show moved at such a fast pace that you forgot about the stuff that didn't work.
