Except this week. What a snoozefest, all about the implausible backstory of Bosley as the Greatest Hacker on Earth, who once met his match by another Super Hacker named Oswald. And get this: Oswald's a girl! A beautiful girl. And not just just any beautiful girl, but Peyton List, who played Lucy Lane on Smallville (furthering Angels' Smallville connection) and is Roger Sterling's wife Jane on Mad Men.
As for the Beat Up Minka Kelly Show, yet another utter failure. No harm whatsoever came to Minka Kelly, or any of the Angels. Closest was Rachael Taylor and Bosley trapped in a bank vault with a bomb inside, but of course they survived unscathed. Minka Kelly was in the bank and outside the vault, but she was totally fine. What a shame - it could have been The Blow Up Minka Kelly Show, but Charlie's Angels blew it.
Only thing interesting this week: Oswald dropping by the prison where Rachael Taylor's dad John Terry is convalescing and the two of them making a pact to bring down Charles "Charlie" Townsend. I wonder if this storyline will come to any fruition in the final two episodes left to air?
Also, in a television program reveling in the unrealistic, the most unrealistic thing this week was in the final seconds when John Terry and Peyton List sealed their evil pact with a handshake in full view of the prison guards. If there's one thing you learn from Arrested Development, when you're in prison, there's "NO TOUCHING!"
