First off, I apologize if anyone tuned in to see Erica Durance. My info was wrong and she's in next week's episode. They even showed a preview as proof and Erica is all over it. This gives the impression Charlie's Angels will not be canceled, at least not before next week. I hope they don't cancel it before we see Erica Durance (I miss Smallville). However, if ABC does cancel Charlie's Angels, tonight's episode titled "Bon Voyage, Angels" would be ideal to send the Angels hitting the bricks.
This was as violent a beating up of Minka Kelly as you could ask for. She gets into a fight with an armed guard and he smashes the living shit out of her. Slammed her around, punched her face bloody over and over. She somehow rallies and wins the fight, but what the hell? Minutes after that brutal beating, she's cover girl pretty immediately. No blood. No bruises. No ill effects whatsoever. Is Minka Kelly Wolverine?
One of the other Angels, Annie Ilonzeh, gets smacked in the face to draw blood too, but it's a far cry from the physical smackdown Minka Kelly endures. Bosley and his perpetual smile also takes some punishment from D.B. Woodside. Still, Kelly takes the brunt of it, as usual. This episode was crazy violent, including a reporter turned into a heroin addict. Who also cleans up really pretty really fast. That's some rehab Charlie sent her to.
Next week, the preview promises Minka Kelly gets captured when the Angels go to Cuba. Will the Cubans up the ante on beating up Minka Kelly?
I only feel that way about Jonah Hill specifically, although he was asked to do something else in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. If Paul Rudd and Jason Segel busted ghosts I would die of happiness and then come back as a ghost and get busted.
