We're not kicking the wrestling fans off of the site, but it seemed right to move the wrestling section down as it is a lower priority for both Chris and I than it has been in the past.
You may have noticed that the time zone is now reflecting Central time as well. If your time zone is displaying strangely, please go to your profile and check to make sure that it is set properly.
The > and < will not work on the new fora until you mark them read one time.
Please try to post in the correct forum - we'll probably continue to move some of the old posts from Random into the correct new areas, but it may take a while.

I haven't really enjoyed it since early 2001, and the interest started to decline way back in 98, but I stuck around hoping it would come back, it just became more meaningless clutter.
Most visions of what wrestling should be is forged in the youth, and I know that isn't EVER coming back. So...how about an old school wrestling thread while we are at it? 
Changes should be good, the only thing, and I don't know how to phrase this correctly, but since your no longer targeting wrestling fans maybe have some catch phrase or something as to the purpose of the board. Just seems to be a void up at top of the front page, don't know if that will draw well or not.

I always think of this as the wrestling message board, and wrestling is the only section of the board I really even bother with. I have to say this really surprised me. I'm not really complaining..as the wrestling stuff IS still around and I'm aware I could just find another board if I became too unpleased with this one. But I thought that this was a wrestling board with other topics as side options. It seems wrestling is one of the side options now.

In the beginning, this was just a wrestling board, with the other areas as side options. However, as the board grew, and CRZ/Guru grew away from wrestling being their main focus, it became obvious that this was a board for everything, and wrestling was just a part of that. These changes reflect that.

I think the 11,204 threads that aren't wrestling (or Guest Columns, or Site Bashing) would argue that this is more than just a wrestling board.

My last new thread in the wrestling forum was on April 9th. Before that, it was January 22nd.
I watch Impact about once every two weeks. I've deleted the last 10 or so Smackdown's off of my DVR without watching them. I haven't watched RAW except with liberal use of the FF button in the last 6 months. In the last two years, I've gotten Wrestlemania as the only PPV as far as I can remember.
Chris hasn't written about wrestling for almost two years now.
In my opinion, this community is much larger than the wrestling forum, and so when I was talking with Chris about moving some posts out of the Random folder, it made sense to put the areas that we currently use and enjoy above the area that we do not use and enjoy.
We can always move them around later.
In the mean time, I'm working on a way to exclude forums from your index page. This will only work for registered users.
Anyway, it's not the end of the world. Change is a good thing.

But I guess if the board continues to grow (is it growing?) that we could get to a point where the whole first page could be filled with posts within an hour as it is in some other places.
