It's purty and all, and the pages ARE nice and white, but... seven figures?

About six hours left in the auction as I type this if you want to try to snipe it.

Let me check to see if I hit Mega Millions...Nope. Damn. Seven figures to me is right where it should be. One day it will hit eight, but that will be awhile. Whoever wins this, gets the crown jewel to any comic book collection.

It was bid up to US $3,207,852.00 (gaining just over 800 grand in the final hour of bidding).

I forgot to mention, but they're donating a whopping 1% to the Christopher & Dana Reeve foundation - yes, WOW, a whole $32,078.52! Don't spend it all in one place!

Fortunately for the seller, eBay's take maxes out at $250 (I think).

For the final value fee it does and I was really shocked by that. It can go over $250 if they have options like a reserve price, or using the Listing Designer.

Well, I'm sure Verizon paid a lot more than $250 to "sponsor" the thing, so they'll get theirs.

Fucking awful. I hope Verizon eats the fees I have to eat in the listing fees as well as the large chunk paypal takes out.

Not at all. I think the point of a news outlet is, or should be, to spread relevant, interesting and important information.
