There's an auto show coming up down here in Toledo, and during RAW last night, they showed some commericals for it hyping an appearance by John Cena.

But instead of pronouncing his last name "SEE-nuh" they pronounced it "Seh-nuh"...

Not really important, but I found it kind of funny. If you're trying to hype someone for a show, you'd think they could at least get his name right.

I still always see "Brett Heart" all the time. The worst was about 12-15 years ago, a poster with "Brett the Heartman" advertised, hehe.

Maybe they're plugging Barry Horowitz?

(Barry wrestled as Brett Hart in the early 80s)

Actually, I believe he wrestled as "stretcher" Jack Hartt.
But, I may be wrong.

No that's correct...I remember him as Jack "The Strecther" Hart when he used to work in the Florida territory.

They definately meant Bret Hart. This was way back when the WWF did the tv tapings here in Brantford, Ontario all the time. Now, they haven't set foot here in 10+ years. So my earlier time estimate was probably too light, probably 20 years ago. (Showing my age!)

That was so dang funny. It beats any of Lillian's gaffes (unless she totally blows it one of these days).

But they're also advertising THE car that was in some movie! WOW!

I seem to remember King Kong Bundy making lots of auto show appearances and such with other D-level celebritites.

I always like it when they advertise cartoon characters making live appearances.

I wish I was smart enough when I was 6 to know that I wasn't really going to see the Ninja Turtles, and was more likely to see some guy in a stupid costume.

This will get added at the end of each post you make, below an horizontal line. This should preferably be kept to a small enough size.

To be fair they did have the live action turtles movies to raise your hopes. (and mine too!)

Ah yes. Classic Lillian mess-ups. Who can forget those! I'm sure most of you remember her Chris Benoit/Jericho mess-up in 2000 that was actually put into the storyline.
But if anyone of you have the July 9, 2001 Raw handy, whip it out for THE best Lillian mess-up ever. If you remember this was the Raw when ECW retuened to merge with WCW. The main event was 5 WWE guys and 5 WCW guys teaming up against the 10 ECW guys that had formed that night. Unfortunatley for the poor girl, when she was introducing the 5 relativley new WCW talent she completley forget their names in the middle of announcing them and just stopped mid-way. I believe it was Palumbo/O'Haire/Kanyon/Jindrak/and someone else that slips my mind, and if i remember correctly she spurted out Kanyon's name well but ended up saying something like 'Chuck O'Haire' and then just said 'who are the other guys?' to herself and just stopped. Anyway this was one of my personal all-time favourite bloopers.

I really hate to burst everybody's bubble, but I don't see Eddie ever getting a main event run-and with good WWE reasoning. He's midcard through and through, and sadly it seems to be due to his ethnicity and the inability to step outside of it.
