She was the first real hero in Star Wars when she stood up to Vader. A guy who was terrifying as all hell to a child. You can see the glimmer in her eye while doing it. She said that George cast them to type from her to Mark to Harrison. I had chance to meet her at NYCC this year, but I choose to go Friday due to the insanity of New York in the weekend. A giant regret now, because I am sure she would have been awesome to meet and hear her stories like I did with Margo Kidder. I hate everything about this.
I think what goes beyond being an author and actress was her tireless efforts for mental health advocacy and the struggles of being a recovering addict.
Selfishly, I wonder what kind of impact this has on the Star Wars franchise. They completed her scenes for Episode VIII, however now I'm curious if this changes the plan(s) for IX.

'She died of a broken heart. It runs in the family.'
