So, I've finally decided to update to Photoshop CS 2 from Photoshop 7.0. The problem is, I can't uninstall PS7. When I go to Add/Remove Programs in the control pannel, it doesn't list PS7 as an option to uninstall among the programs. I can't find an uninstall application either in my PS7 folder, although the uninst.isu and uninst.dll files are there. Is there any other way I can uninstall the program?

(not) Quick and (very) dirty:

Go to the PS folder, select it, then hold shift and press delete. Answer yes to permanently delete.

Get a registry cleaner (e.g. CCleaner, RegScrub, and RegSupreme; you'd find programs like those on download.com or via a Web search) and check to see if it detects old references to your now deleted folder. Make the cleaner backup your registry then let it erase those references.

The only solution I've been able to find says to reinstall it, then uninstall it using add\remove programs.
Assuming you have the install CD.

So I finally succumbed to the iPod revolution and snagged me an 80 GB video iPod. Me likey. I bought and downloaded Star Trek: The Motion Picture off of iTunes, and loved how it came with chapter breaks, just like a regular DVD.
