I turned on my television today and saw CannonBall (1976) thinking I was gonna see some Burt Reynolds car racing, I grabbed a beer. Unfortunately what I got was a David Carridiene (Revenge of the Nerds) led CannonBall. What's up wit that?
I was aware of the late 80s John Candy suckfest of a CannonBall movie, but had no idea that there was a pre-CannonBall suckfest.
Was anyone else aware of this movie, and is this what the CannonBall (Burt Reynolds) movies were based on?
"Why are you hiding? We are not monsters, we're just kids" "There's a difference?"
Burt Reynolds starred in "Cannonball Run", and Robert and David Carradine were in "Cannonball", which is not related to the former. John Candy was in "Speedzone" which is the unofficial sequel to "Cannonball Run 2". Try going to www.imdb.com sometime if you have questions like this, since it's a great resource.
That statement is misleading. Yes, Christians co-opted some of the traditions and superficial aspects of Pagan holidays, but that should in no way take away from the spiritual aspects of Christian holidays, in this case the resurrection of Jesus.
