Anyone here like Cannibal Corpse?

I've been a fan since I heard the Vile album.

I don't own any of their albums but I grew up with a few kids that were big into them. They're really good and Chris Barnes is a death metal god. I remember the first time I listened to them and on one of the tracks my friend claimed they were using a brillo pad as a guitar pick...my reaction was "Whoa." (I was going through a Keanuu Reeves faze I guess)

I've been a big fan of CC for many years. If you haven't heard their new disk "The Wretched Spawn" yet, do yourself a favor and check it out.

I've always thought of Cannibal Corpse as Gwar without any fucking sense of humor. Music is OK for the genre, but not anywhere near as good as say Morbid Angel or early Sepultura.

And I will show you something different from either
Your shadow at morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you;
I will show you fear in a handful of dust.

I guess it would depend on what else they saw in this "private" room, or how big & full of porn the cabinet was, or how many cabinets like this there were in the room?
