Canada has a leaf on their flag, a mapleleaf. Canada has many other leafs too. It may even be legal to someday smoke them in Canada as well.

I'm very thankful for Canada.

With SARS, Mad Cow, and maybe the West Nile virus, we need something to kill the pain. Eh?

Well you're in your little room
and you're working on something good
but if it's really good
you're gonna need a bigger room
and when you're in the bigger room
you might not know what to do
you might have to think of
how you got started in your little room
da da da

I still believe at the bottom of my heart that the symbol on the canadian flag is NOT a maple leaf, but in truth its a giant Canadian marijuana leaf. Canuck ganj at its finest.

I still believe in the bottom of my heart that marijuana would have been legalized a long time ago if less stereotypical people supported legalization.

If marijuana was legal, people would just find something else. Marijuana being illegal is part of the appeal, doing something rebellious, naughty, against the law.

I'm not sure that many people would just find something else. Your point may be true for a minority or possibly some younger people who enjoy "being bad", but making it legal would actually allow many people who enjoy it but abstain because of whiz quizzes or other constraints to toke without fear of losing their jobs.

I understand what you're saying here, but I don't think that's acceptable. Terrorism was a "nuisance" before 9/11, I suppose. And we had Munich, the Achille Lauro, the Cole, the embassy bombings, the first WTC bombings....
