Eagles playing garbage QB's go to San Fran and blow out the 49er's. Giants lose to an expansion team. Colts blow out the Eagles with McNabb on the road, and win in the snow in Denver at night. Raiders look like the greatest team ever, lose 4 straight, then win 3 in a row looking like a great team. Except for the Bengals sucking; and Marty being an idiot in Detroit, is there anything that makes sense in the NFL anymore?

I want you to know, I agree with everything I've just said.

Not too mention Atlanta is on fire, an XFL QB was toasting the leagues db's, the Rams can't win with an MVP at QB, the Broncos can't win at night but are unbeaten during the day games, the 3 headed QB in washington doesn't work (well that was a given before the season) and C! H! A! D! ChadChadChad has Eddie the Fireman and the rest of the J! E! T! S! JetsJetsJets fans reason to watch again.....

Ah, the dark side of parity that's all the rage in the NFL these days. We're inching ever closer to a division winner with a losing record. I'd say over/under is 5 years, with me betting on the under.

How 'bout now?

Parity Shmarity. This year has been a lot of fun. Yeah sure every week there are a few head scratchers but in the words of Chris Berman 'That is why they play the game.'

If you were a professional bettor you would probably find some trends here which would make the season look normal. I know some of the info that I use for fantasy football has come in handy in my leagues. Not that it mattered in the Wienerville League mind you. But some of the schedule trends that I saw before the season matched up with decisions teams made during the season which left me scratching my head as to why they really made those decisions.

From the infamous Wrestleline SS interview:

DTD: If you were to make changes in WCW, if you were in charge and not Ric Flair, what would they be?

SS: I'd get rid of all the old guys, and push the talent that has waited to get the push. The things they are doing, it's back in the 1980s. It's just bad, man. Flair doesn't even deserve to be on the show. You've got to get rid of all the old guys. Like what Vince did, they started pushing guys. Nobody knew who The Rock was 2 years ago. He made The Rock. Now The Rock just did Saturday Night Live. You've got to start with the young talent, talent people can relate to. Who are we trying to relate to if we've got a 50 year old man out there? Are we trying to relate, so a 50 year people and above will go out and buy a f*cking little toy? That ain't gonna happen. It's a f*cking joke.

Does it remind you of any show in particular?

the skins are playing musical QB's, and if they hit 8-8, i'll be happy. i think that's a good mark for a 1st year coach, and they are 5-6 now, so it's still possible to win 3 or 4 of their last 5. they still have houston on the lineup...hopefully they can beat an expansion team with the qb of the week.

Wrestling has been rhyming with ass. I miss shows and it makes me all shades of ambivalence. WWE is starting to suck again. The crops?

Please remember this; the Ravens play Cincy this week and after that happens they will be 6-6. The Ravens will be 6 AND FUCKING 6!!! with games remaining against New Orleans, @ Houston, Cleveland, and @ Pittsburgh.

We can still win the divison: Cleveland still has @ us, Carolina, @ Jacksonville, Indianapolis and Atlanta; and Pittsburgh sitll has us, @ JAcksonville, Houston, Carolina, and @ Tampa Bay.

Watch this: Baltimore will lose to Cincy this week. Anytime anyone looks like they're getting on a roll in the NFL, they take an embarrassing loss. Obviously, Triple H is holding the league down.

Please. Don't talk about the Wienerville league without mentioning the ex-Pine Jockeys, who I renamed the Pointless Wonders after I managed to win a game starting... DAVID GARRARD. And my biggest week, with a bigbig 95.00 points, came with Matt Effin Hasselbeck at QB.

As for the Giants, they looked like they didn't care about the Texans. They need to realize NOW that they aren't a team that can sleepwalk through any game. They just don't have the killer instinct they need to put teams away (a-HEM, Giants/Vikings...)

The only consistency in the league this year has been the Buccaneers defense.

DDP: Well, there's this little passage I got memorized, Diamond Dallas 25:17. Sort of fits this occasion:

"The path of the bookerman is beset on all sides by the inequities of the talented, and the tyranny of workrate freaks. Blessed is he, who in the name of tradition and sports entertainment carries the stiffs through the matches of Nitro, for he is truly the workrate's keeper, and the finder of lost quality. And I will lay the smack down upon thee with great vengeance and furious roid rage those who attempt to outwrestle and expose my brothers. And you will know my name as the Bookerman, when I lay my catchphrase upon thee!"

DDP & Kevin: *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!*

I just reread what I wrote and wanted to clarify: I wouldn't be shocked if the Chiefs were significantly better next year, both because I like Reid and because that's just the way it goes in the NFL.
