Dave Campo simply is not a smart coach. On fourth down and half a yard to go with a 3 point lead, you go for it. You make it, you ice the game. You don't, the other team takes over on the 30 as opposed to close to midfield if you miss the kick. Even if you had the best kicker in the league on your team, a 6 point lead is still a one possession game and there would still be plenty of time for Garcia and Owens to march down the field. After seeing Campo make one of the dumbest decisions I've ever seen on top of other dumb decisions in his tenure, it's time for a coaching change in big D.

I enjoy the comedic relief that the Cowboys provide to Eagles fans. Campo rules.

From the infamous Wrestleline SS interview:

DTD: If you were to make changes in WCW, if you were in charge and not Ric Flair, what would they be?

SS: I'd get rid of all the old guys, and push the talent that has waited to get the push. The things they are doing, it's back in the 1980s. It's just bad, man. Flair doesn't even deserve to be on the show. You've got to get rid of all the old guys. Like what Vince did, they started pushing guys. Nobody knew who The Rock was 2 years ago. He made The Rock. Now The Rock just did Saturday Night Live. You've got to start with the young talent, talent people can relate to. Who are we trying to relate to if we've got a 50 year old man out there? Are we trying to relate, so a 50 year people and above will go out and buy a f*cking little toy? That ain't gonna happen. It's a f*cking joke.

Does it remind you of any show in particular?

Exactly. Can we trade a couple of Draft Picks to the Cowboys in return for them offering a 10 year contract to Campo?

Campo is like our own Rich Kotite.

After last season ended, I told many people that Dallas will never start improving until Campo is gone. I've been saying that since the Thanksgiving game last season when Campo finally pushed me over the edge. Denver was leading Dallas by 16 in the 4th quarter. Dallas scored a TD and then lined up for the extra point. I was sitting with my family after the Thanksgiving dinner, watching the game and I started yelling, "What the hell is that retard doing?" Down by 16 points in the 4th quarter, anybody with at least a double digit IQ should know that you have to go for 2 points to try to make it an 8 point game. Not that idiot Campo, He kicks the extra point to stay 9 points and 2 scores down. Dallas ended up scoring another TD with about a minute left and lost the game by 2 points.

Much like Ray Handley with the Giants in the early 90's, the new #1 song in Big D will be "DAAAAAAAAAAVE....MUUUUUUUUUST GO!" :)

What about Gregg Williams? He's proven repeatedly that he quite simply has no sack whatsoever. I'll refer to today's edition of TMQ for proof.

The Cowboys also lead the Eagles in drug and sex arrests.

You mean like comparing this

to the Eagle's SuperBowl trophy case.

I'm just joking around with you Eagle fans. I don't despise the Eagles like I did when Buddy Ryan was there. I was at the Vet a few years ago to watch the Braves play the Phillies and when I left the stadium to go to the parking lot, they were selling Eagles shirts. The shirt had "Go Eagles" on the front and "Dallas Sucks" on the back. I pointed to my Cowboys cap and told him I didn't think I wanted one. He laughed and me and my friends ended up chatting with him and a few Eagles fans about some of the big Cowboys-Eagles games in the '90s while we waited for the traffic to clear out of the parking lot. After seeing some of the Philly fans in action in the past, I felt lucky that I didn't have to fight my Cowboys cap wearing way out of the Vet parking lot.

Never thought I would do it but, I actually pulled for the Eagles in the playoffs last year and will probably do it again this season. I had some college classes along with Duce Staley at the University of South Carolina and Duce is a cool guy. In his Senior year at Univ. of South Carolina, he led the SEC in rushing even though he missed 2 1/2 games with an ankle injury. I knew the Eagles got a deal when they drafted him. Also, Sheldon Brown is also a former Gamecock playing with the Eagles and I've spoken to him a couple of times also and he's a good guy as well as being a good CB.

Same here. This folder has been a blast with all of the trash talking lately. It seems like we love our teams and poking fun at each other is a blast.

I would hope that the Cowboys wise up and hire someone to rebuild the team. There are some good pieces there but other spots are like WTF?

Duce is a perfect back for this offense although I believe that he won't be there next year. There are 2 young backs behind him that will probably take over if they are healthy.

Sheldon Brown looks like he will turn out to be a good player. He is in a great spot playing behind Vincent, Taylor, and Harris. There is no pressure on him and he can develop at his own pace. In a couple of years when Vincent and Taylor move on he can slide right into a starting position.

Couldn't agree more. All the shit that gets said is done in good humour, and everyone seems willing and able to give as good as they get. Kinda makes me wish the wrestling forum could be a bit more like this but hey, life ain't perfect.

the Skins are 5 time NFL champs.

1937 28-21 over the Bears (Also was the first year in Washington, their first year in '32 they were the Boston Braves and from '33-'36 they were the Boston Redskins)
1942 14-6 over the bears
1982-1983 27-17 over the Dolphins
1987-1988 42-10 record setting win over the Broncos
1991-1992 37-24 over Bills

they are 11 time NFC champs. 1936, 1937, 1940, 1942, 1943, 1945, 1972, 1982, 1983, 1987, 1991.

they are 7 time NFC East champs. 1972, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1987, 1991, 1999.

1999 was the last time the skins finished over .500 too, losing to the bucs in the 99 NFC playoff game 13-14 in Tampa. They were 10-6 that year. 2000 and 2001 they were 8-8.

DDP: Well, there's this little passage I got memorized, Diamond Dallas 25:17. Sort of fits this occasion:

"The path of the bookerman is beset on all sides by the inequities of the talented, and the tyranny of workrate freaks. Blessed is he, who in the name of tradition and sports entertainment carries the stiffs through the matches of Nitro, for he is truly the workrate's keeper, and the finder of lost quality. And I will lay the smack down upon thee with great vengeance and furious roid rage those who attempt to outwrestle and expose my brothers. And you will know my name as the Bookerman, when I lay my catchphrase upon thee!"

DDP & Kevin: *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!*

The Cowboys are tied with the 49'ers for most Super Bowl Championships with 5.

Dallas has appeared in more Super Bowls than any other team with 8 Super Bowls.

Hold the NFL record for most playoff appearances with 26.

19 division championships including 15 in the NFC East.

And, as of this year, the Cowboys have the NFL's all time leading rusher with Emmitt Smith.

Not bad for a team that's only been around since 1960.

Not really that surprising, since the Super Bowl only dates back to 1966. Now, if they were leading in NFL championships, that would be a feat. But as someone said earlier, the Packers have 12 NFL Championships. We have more history in our little fingers than the NFC South has in their entire division! MU HA HA HA!

Well, the Cowboys only go back 6 years beyond the Super Bowl themselves. That's still over 30 years worth of history. If you're going to just compare championships then it should also be noted that the Packers have 80 years of history compared to the Cowboys with 40 years. Winning the NFC during the Super Bowl era would be equal to winning the NFL championship back before the merger. The Cowboys have won the NFC 8 times in their 42 years. I think that's pretty impressive. And, it's impressive that the Packers have won 12 championships but, it's not an equal comparison.

With all that said, the Cowboys suck right now and they will continue to suck until they get a competent Head Coach.
