Yo-yo-yo.

I know there's a lot of us Ws from the great city of Calgary, and finally we have a shot to get drunk together and watch the Flames dominate some Eastern team. So, is anybody interested in organizing some sort of get-together to watch at least a few of the games?

THE NHL'S FINAL FOUR:
Western Conference Final: Calgary Flames beat San Jose Sharks 4-2
Eastern Conference Final: Tampa Bay Lightning & Philadelphia Flyers are tied 3-3 [Game 7: Saturday]

Unfortunately, I'm going to be in Toronto next week, so I won't be around for the first three games.

I'd suggest going to a place like the Yardhouse where the BBQ Chicken Pizza is amazing, and it's on the 17th Ave strip. You'd have to get there early, though.

Boston Pizza has the "pints for goals" deal where they only charge the dollar amount per pint of how many goals Kiprusoff lets in. If he gets a shutout, pints are 50 cents.

I'm always up for beer and hockey, and I know The Goon is too (depending on his schedule, of course.)

Not to mention that he beat the entire world of hockey at the 1988 Winter Olympics. That had to be one of the great underappreciated sporting achievements ever--he was tremendous, and led the Czechs to victory over teams loaded up with talent.
