Every story I've seen emphasizes that the name change will reflect the "broader" appeal of the channel's programming, which goes beyond simply science fiction ... They never mention the fact that ECW wrestling gives them their highest ratings, though (shocking!). FALCONNNN PAWNCH!!!
I liked watching Hole in the Wall when it was a Japanese game show, because, well, it was a wacky Japanese game show. In the states, where I could understand the inane commentary, it was not as fun.
