I was thinking about seperating the header and footer out of the post in the database, so that you could display the page without them, and so that it would fix all this crap with the broken tables....
I haven't gotten to it yet, obviously. I've had to, you know, work - at work.
You can take their sig out. Just delete it when you click on the quote thingy. It should have like, their sig in words and html, just center in on the sig and TERMNIATE with extreme prejudice.

And there you are. I sure hope that worked so I don't look stupid.

I'm much too lazy for all that, plus it looks crappy when other folks leave all the sigs in, especially when they incluse a quote of a quote of a quote in their posts, plus I'm pretty sure I've exceeded my the amount of commas allowed in one sentence here anyway.

Me too (Netscape 4.78 Solaris), though I've never been annoyed enough to figure out WHY and tell you about it. ;-) [EDIT: Examining your code, it looks like your "empty" td doesn't register - maybe you should put an " " between the td and /td or something?
Well, the way it's supposed to look is the way it looks on MY computer....running Opera 6 in Windows ME. I see the text in a column on the right, aligned to an invisible line in the middle so it doesn't cover up the picture of the earth. I'll try the nbsp thing and you tell me how it looks, k?
