On WWE.com right now, they've got a bWo promo in which they challenge the Mexi-Cools to a match at the Great American Bash. I'd check it out, it's kinda funny... and it also relieves my fears that the bWo were going to be a one-night-only thing. (Particuarly since Simon Dean appeared on Heat, didn't he?)

Simon was on Velocity last week, but apparently the bWo have a match on Velocity this week. Wonder if it's a one-time thing, or if they actually intend to have Nova play two different characters on the same show ...

In tuesday's tapings, Nova wrestled on Velocity and Simon Dean wrestled Booker T on SmackDown.

Ha. Went over to WWE.com and watched the promo and it was pretty funny.

They probably wanted to do London/Juventud for the CW Title, but maybe London's still hurt so they just did this instead.

Works for me either way.

Was it just me, or was Big Stevie Cool, looking a LOT like Edge in that promo?

Either way, funny stuff. Keep the Meanie around. I love that guy!

A lot of people are saying that the bWo is too low rent for WWE, but I REALLY think that if WWE ran with this then they could end up being a solid midcard act. They're highly entertaining and could have some great moments if given the chance.

Never 'Wiener of the Day', and is actually quite bitter about it.

I'm probably too much of a bWo mark to properly talk about them, but I couldn't agree more. Keep them around, make sure they do get promos and ones that aren't written by whomever gave Cena his Smackdown material, and they'll be a very solid act for the WWE. If not even a huge hit!

But I don't think a lot of WWE fans get their gimmick. Isn't it pretty much a spoof of the NWO, which hasn't been around for years? Shouldn't they update to spoof something else (much like when they parodied all those tag teams in ECW)?

Seeing as how the true nWo was gone for years before they re-introduced The Original Three to the WWF in 2002, I don't think there's any danger that someone will go, "Blue World Order? I don't get it."

Besides, when they debuted on SmackDown, they were spoofing another stable entirely-- the Cabinet. Nova was "Bash Me", one of the Secretaries of Defense. Meanie was John "Blue" Lamefield, and Stevie was-- grr, can't remember the name right now, but he was spoofing Orlando Jordan.

And I wouldn't be surprised if the bWo spoofed the Mexicools at GAB. After all, they're also revolting against the gringos.

And I believe the Dudleys as well. Oh great, a few more years of D'von jobbing and Bubba thinking he's Dusty Rhodes. Oh no, maybe they'll have Bubba remove his shirt to reveal splotch.
