I thought he was very good indeed. A classic English heel with the perfect accent. I was hoping he would say something like 'Look, you idiots, we settled this country but decided to leave it because America is a piece of shit!', but he didn't

He's a very good foil for Regal.

SmackDown was pre-empted in NYC last night, but I saw him the week before and the grade I'd give him is a resounding "Too soon to say".

I hope, though, that he's smart enough to know that there are about thirty thousand things any wrestler could learn working with Regal (subtleties, facial expressions, how not to cope with a life on the road).

And the C4 is a very pretty move. But who'd take it other than a cruiser?

I have seen the c4 and honestly I am not impressed with it. It takes more athletic ability from the taker than the initiator. Sure it may look pretty but I don't see WWE fans diggin it to much.

Fun fact: His match was on wwe.com this week. Just watched, and I like what I see. Probably for the best he isn't busting out C4's left and right, both because of unrealistic expectations and just not fitting with his character.

Yeah, the match wasn't bad. I like the shoulder breaker/armbar combo as a finisher.

From what I've seen of him even before his debut he could be in the mix in years to come. I doesn't look all that unique but he is in good shape. If injuries don't bog him down he could be just what the WWE could use.

I think he's been great so far even with his toned down offense.

The Shoulder breaker into Fujiwara armbar is a great finisher.

Regal said it best "He is a hooligan".

Burchill is sixteen kinds of awesome. He's got the look, he's got the physique, he can talk. Even if he DIDN'T have wrestling ability, which he does, he'd still be huge.

Screw the C4 - he's never gonna use it. Judge him for the moves he can show you.

Dark Match
Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Paul Burchill
Scotty 2 Hotty dominated much of the match. He did the worm and before he could chop, Burchill knocked him across the ropes and rolled him up for the pin.
Winner: Burchill

not on this week smackdown so i hope he gets a good match next week where he can hit some other moves.

Is this a spoiler? If so, it probably wasn't cool to just put it in a random thread.

If it's just a dark match, what is he spoiling?

Sometimes people get confused between "dark matches" and what ends up on Velocity. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't the latter.

They can take all the time they want as long as: 1. The other matches aren't shortchanged to make room, and 2.
