A)Xander/Anya getting together is a copout. A REALLY big copout. It's already been established that they're just not meant for each other. They really should be moving on, what with Anya being deader than Haunted in about five seconds.
B)Buffy STILL wasn't right. She was WRONG. If she'd taken them all in there she would've gotten them killed and she herself never would've got to the Power Axe or the Mega Zord because she'd have died trying to protect them.
C)Kennedy is annoying as fuck. Where was black SIT? I thought she was supposed to be the annoying one, until I actually started enjoying her presence last week. Figures she'd disappear after that.
D)The Mayor shall ALWAYS own but my question is, what "Rules"? If the First as the Mayor is part Mayor does that mean part of Jenny Calender really wanted Angel to die? Or that Buffy is part of the First as well?
"Man shouldn't have to live by carbohydrates alone; complex or otherwise" David Lucas as Spike Spiegal Hey Burkett, quit friggin appologizin fer bein a Whedon mark.
First, a regular wasn't killed on Angel, but kinda written out. Two if you count Cordelia still being in a coma. Of course, the news about what's happening with Angel next season is available elsewhere on this board, so I'll leave it at that.
Johnny, what do you mean Xander/Anya was a cop out? A cop out on what? That the last time they got together was the last? Given that their two of the hornier characters on the show, is it any surprise that after their break up they keep engaging in sex? I heard once that for every six months you were together you are entitled to one free booty call. So Xander and Anya were together from the early season four to late season six. That's about two and a half years, so by my count, they've got three more encounters to go.
I think that everyone is part of the First Evil, as everyone as evil thoughts (Joyce said evil is part of all of us), and that part of them is what encompasses the First. I'm sure that after he killed her, part of Jenny's spirit would want vengeance, and that part, the evil part, would be the part that the First would show, and use. I suppose that the First is using whatever evil thoughts Buffy may have to fuel it, but at the same time, I'm sure that the First can say whatever it wants regardless of the form its in. Although it doesn't seem to lie.
I apologize for apologizing for being a Buffy/Angel mark.
Hiring a computer engineer? Its okay. No one else is either...
For me it was the intervention later on. "nonjudgmental confrontation," indeed. *L* As for the rest, yeah this episode was one of the season's best. It amazing how good things get when they stop wasting time.
