Blah. We finally bring one of our starters off the d/l and he gets shelled. That's gotta be wonderful for his confidence. He's got talent but unfortunately i wonder if his arm is still bothering him.

Actually, 4 no-hitters ties him with former White Sox catcher Ray Schalk from the 1910s to 1920s. It's more astounding for Varitek's accomplishment because he did it with less complete games being allowed for pitchers and the DH rule.
