I guess that's the Best Case Scenario with Matthew Vaughn (Director of X-men First Class) leaving... like having Peter Jackson directing The Hobbit after Guiellermo Del Tero left. Unfortunately, Singer's movies have been really suspect after X-Men and X2 (Superman Returns, Valkyrie, and Jack the Giant Killer got delayed).
Lots of weird things happening in the Fox X-Men universe... The Wolverine is set AFTER X-men: The Last Stand.
I liked Valkyrie and it was in Oscar consideration. I might be the only person that thought First Class was twenty minutes too long and not that great. I think Singer is perfect for doing a Days of Future Past especially if the rumors of the old cast coming back is true. I don't mind Wolverine being after Last Stand, they need to confront that problem and move on.
The Wee Baby Sheamus.Twitter: @realjoecarfley its a bit more toned down there. A bit.

That is a clever turn of phrase by you, even if it was unintentional.
Now I am biased as Singer is one of, if not my favorite director, but I like this move a lot. In fact, I never watched another X-Men movie after X2 because Singer wasn't directing. So this move will bring me back into the X-Men franchise.

It was probably like his intense feelings of sadness when seeing the undersea shots of the plane. There was am underlying sense that had to do with his (future) time on the island, that he tapped into with his experiments.
