I do the same thing behind Mrs. Dunk's back every chance I get.

Guys, they know you're doing it. Really. I have been married long enough that I am not allowed to actually touch any thermostat in the house.

Pieman - I have been doing it for all 10+ years of our marriage and I won't quit. I figure she will eventually give up and put on a sweater.

You have to fight Tubbs for it.

I'd fight for it, but only want it during Comicon Week.

Back off. It's mine. Me and the Demon Kitty will come to a little "understanding."

Isn't it cool to have your colored weather map have more colors then just red and different shades of orange... Embrace the freezing blue.

smark/net attack wienerville advisory holds at ORANGE alert - High (JBL is STILL WWE champion and now smarks arch enemy HHH is the World Champion. Major red threat, but the undercard seems okay. The alert holds... for now)- 9/19

Man, you guys must think I'm super weak or something. All I was doing was pointing out the first below-freezing recorded temperature of the season, that's all. I'm NOT complaining about it! I LIKE cold! I PREFER cold! I haven't even unpacked the coats yet!

They call this "whistling in the dark" where I come from.

It sounds more like "Stockholm Syndrome"* to me, but I think it's a case of both of us being right.

*I did the same bit of false convincing/bravado to myself and others when I lived up north the first winter just to prove that I was, to paraphrase Run DMC, TOUGHER THAN WEATHER.

If you replace "bank vault" with "anywhere north of the Mason-Dixon after September" and "bank robbers" with "cold" it isn't all that far off. Eventually you start building snow figures and telling yourself you like the cold.
