Just got back from Watseka, IL. where the New Breed Wrestling Alliance put on a good show, local wrestlers did well on the card as did Jerry Lynn who put on an excellent show.
Brother Runt, however, was a different story. It was going around the crowd that he had come to the event well into his cups, and his behavior in the main event with Diego Corleone (who is a riot BTW) was bizarre. First, he dove out of the ring onto, basically, an open chair. The "bad guys" were nowhere near. He then picked up a folding chair and fired it randomly towards someone who happened to be an audience member.
Once the match got underway, it never really clicked. After Runt won after a messy acid drop, there was a bit of a shmozz which resulted in Runt whipping a folding chair out of the ring. The chair struck the ground, bounced up and struck a small boy in the face.
The boy appeared to have just suffered a swollen lip, but it definitely killed the event. One animated woman shouted something along the lines of "you stupid drunk bastard" at Runt (while the rest of the crowd was very very quiet), and Runt, after comforting the child, left the ring area very quietly.
The other wrestlers involved in the main seemed very pissed. The guys came back with a finishing bit and a nice ending, but I felt sorry for them for having to deal with this.

Yep. When the Dudleys went to TNA, they became known as the Deadly Brothers, Team 3-D. Individually, they were known as Brother Ray and Brother Devon. So when Spike went there, they decided to call him Brother Runt. | flairforthegold13

A bit off point, but it's my eternal regret that I didn't attend the ECW show here in Pensacola in 2000 when Sandman showed up drunk and flashed his dick at the crowd.
Meh, there's no good way to phrase that, but I think you guys get the point.

Just talked to one of the guys from NBWA.
Luckily, the kid wasn't hurt too badly. He was happy later after getting lots of attention from the wrestlers. Also, the mother was known by soem of the folks there, so there won't be litigation or anything.
The bar owner didn't seem to be overly concerned. Over 100 people were there, don't know the exact number. For the guys' sake, I hope there aren't any further repercussions.
