It looked like Brock was treating Big Show like he was Bob Holly last night. Those were some stiff chairshots.

411 says that there is legit heat between the two.

It looks like the buildup to this match has far exceeded anyone's expectations.

My question is who wins in a shoot-fight. I know that Brock has the amateur background. But, I say Paul Wight wins. The guy is big enough to not cooperate and he can knock out a guy with one punch. I never thought I'd say it, but I'm excited about this matchup.

AFAIK there was a shoot between the two a while back.

Borck and Angle were amateur wrestling, and show wanted a go, and lost (of course)

As for Smackdown, the chairshots were fine, the arm on the steel steps, now THAT was ugly, and looked like Show got a legit injury.

Lesnar wins, no question. Big Show would basically be a Paul Valerens, a really huge guy with no technique who can use his size to beat lower level MMA guys but gets his ass kicked going up against fighters with really good technique, even if they're half his size. Honestly, what credentials does Show have outside of being really massive?

Yeah, Show's big, but why does everybody act like Lesnar is small?

I'll take Lesnar, because he has a bit of an edge in terms of speed.

Lesnar, no question about it!

Besides, hasn't Big Show said many times that there's no way he'd ever suceed doing any shoot fighting?

I think motivation is the key here. If there's a prize for winning this fight, it might weigh heavily (no pun intended Show) in the outcome. Therefore.

If the prize is Triple H's last stock of reduced-price steroids...Brock.

If the prize is a ham sandwich...Big Show.

Maybe there will be a last minute stipulation: "First man to eat his weight in big macs wins the title?"

If that's the case my $$$ is on Big Show.

Brock would DESTROY Paul Whyte. Brock wasn't just an amateur wrestler, he was the best at a high level. He wasn't wrestling against guys trying to lose 8 pounds 3 days before the matches so they could get to the 198 pound level, he was wrestling against Super Heavyweights. Brock has all the knowledge of how to use leverage and he has a BIG speed advantage.

I missed the bit on 411 so I'm out of the loop. Did they mention why there's heat between them?

Brock wins by practically ripping The Big Show's head off, and thus, the fans win as well.

Since Big Shows only talent is raising his hand and yelling "AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGG" Lke Charlie Brown missing the football, I would give it to Brock.

Plus, Big Shows only redeming quality, THE AFRO OF DOOM has been missing for quite some time!

Show went too stiff on Brock during a house show and the Smackdown beatdowns, so Brock really leveled the shit out him with the chair on Smackdown this week.

While Lesnar would probably defeat the Big Show handily in a typical UFC/PRIDE style fight, it'd be more interesting to see who would win in a flat out street fight. While there's no doubt as to Brock's technical superiority, who knows how well he can handle just being punched full on to the face? Or Big Show either, for that matter. However, I suppose if you're going by a no rules fight and they're just fighting to see who wins, not who's the better fighter, it's still a lot easier to kick Paul Wight in the nuts than it is Brock Lesnar.

Along those same lines, a friend and I recently noted that it might actually be preferable to end up in a brawl with Lesnar than Trish Stratus because I'd just kick Lesnar in the nuts and run away, whereas Trish doesn't have any such glaring weakness and may still be stronger and certainly better trained then) me.

And is there actually any proof that Lesnar was working stiff on Show this Thursday? It wouldn't be the first time that someone got stiffed and made it looked like they were pissed but it was all a work. Lance Storm mentioned doing that the last time he faced RVD when RVD potatoed him in the mouth and people thought Lance had started stiffing RVD in response. Maybe the stiff chair shots were agreed upon. Big Show can probably take a little harder chair shot than the average wrestler. Is there a claim of heat between them from any reliable sources?

Well, Big Show seems to get winded just walking to the ring, Lesnar probably runs circles around him

I'm certainly no expert on female anatomy, but it was my impression that female genatalia, if not as susceptible to a quick punch as a mans, is at least a weak point.

I will not let your cynicism ruin the good name of pure athletes like BROCK and Scott Steiner.

BROCK wins because Show probably needs a nap after using the bathroom.

I have no problem with Wrestlemania going less than 4 hours since I'm on the east coast and I have to get up for work the next morning. It'll probably be between 3 and a half and 3 and 45 minutes.
