The current plan is to have the Big Show face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Title as the Smackdown main event at the Judgment Day PPV in May. Of course, plans could and usually do change in WWE.

ok, the first time was alright. Especially seeing Brock throw around the big lug like that but AGAIN? Why not have Cena go at it again? Hell, make it a three-way with Benoit. No offense against Big Show but c'mon.
Brock vs Big Show has been done at two PPVs already lately. Still, Big Show was the first one to pin Brock, and the guy is really the biggest Heel on Smackdown now that Angle is gone, so it is logical to use him unless they wanted to turn Taker or Benoit, or set up a Face v Face fued.

I'm sure I'll be in the minority here, but the buildup to Lesnar-Show at Survivor Series was excellent. And even though the match was a glorified squash, it still looked okay -- especially considering his limitations. I'm not saying its the rematch I've been dying to see (especially because the Royal Rumble kinda ended the issue), but it could be a helluva lot worse.... Just be thankful its not against Piper.

Yeah, the buildup was great. But Paul Heyman was writing back then, and he can make the fans care about almost anyone (911, anyone?). And Big Show is AWESOME on the stick. No one can deny that.
Unfortunatley, it doesn't translate in the ring. There's a reason their match at Survivor Series was kept to 4-minutes long. If a main-event match can't go 20 minutes, it has no business being the main-event.

Sunday Night Heat is rapidly becoming my favorite part of the PPV's.
Wow, that Big Slug. He sure busted his ass for that title shot, didn't he? Yeah, who needs guys like Benoit and Rhyno when we have BIG SHOW? I mean, at the very least, couldn't they have Brock and John Cena come to a non-finish at Backlash and set up a rematch? That would be worlds better than Big Show getting another shot at the title.
And didn't Brock beat Big Show decisively at Royal Rumble? What's different this time? Big Show has Albert-Train in his corner? [sarcasm]Ooooooooh! Brock's in big trouble if he gets tangled in Albert's back hair. Here's my $30 RIGHT NOW![/sarcasm]
The sad thing is, this isn't even the stupidest decision Vince can make.
Coming in July at the first Smackdown PPV, Brock defends against Nathan Jones!
You know it won't be long now. May God help us all!
I dunno about Trips and Nash at Judgement day. I got a look at the print ad for Judgement Day and it features just one man, Booker T. Yes i know what your going to say. "But they print them things so far in advance they never know whats going on!" Or "Well things have changed bacause Nash is back". I have an arguement for that too. The entire course of the Trips Booker fued has had booker looking like the man who can beat trips, only falling short due to extreme inteference. Unlike Kane and RVD, It actually feels like booker belongs in there against triple H. And short of a freak injury i think it is definitly booker's time. About the Nash argument, everone and theyre mother knew nash was coming back imediatly following wrestlemania. We knew this as early as the rumble. I know you guys might not like to hear this because well its not bitching but i think WWE actually has some long term planning laid out.

I'm not too thrilled about Big Show/Lesnar, but put me in the camp that says it could be worse. And for those who say that the match is pointless because Lesnar defeated Big Show at the Rumble, might I remind you that Lesnar SQUASHED Cena on Smackdown! a while back, and he'll probably do it again at Backlash. Not saying that I have any problem with Cena headlining either, though. He's my current fave.
But yeah, I doubt Big Show/Lesnar will even go down at the PPV.

Maybe this is going to be part of some interesting storyline? Maybe this could involve the return of Kurt Angle? Maybe we should all reserve our 'where's the build up? This sux!' comments until we know IF it will happen and how it will happen?

Hmm ... If I was doing this storyline ... Well, actually, if I was doing it, Booker would have won the title already. But if I was to take over the storyline now, your comment leads me to one possible outcome. Hell-in-a-Cell. No intereference.

Anywho, the way we see it, Big Shows the number one heel one SD right now so theres a fair chance he could go for the belt again. Then again he might not. We really aint got the foggiest."
