I stopped watching the WWE back in the summer and recently started watching again. What I don't understand is what happened between Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman?
Can someone please explain that story because I was bewildered when JR said "Heyman's not gonna be happy about this" when Brock won the rumble.

Well, Paul Heyman was Lesnar's agent. You knew that, right? Heyman turned on Lesnar in a match for the title at the November PPV. Lesnar had given the Big Show the F5, and was pinning him, when Heyman pulled the ref out. The end result was that Big Show won the title, and Heyman declared that Brock Lesnar would never again get it. There are other things, like Kurt Angle's involvment, but that's the heart of it.

EDIT: Oh, and Lesnar became a face after Heyman cost him the title.

The following post expresses the opinions of a raving Jerichoholic. He is biased, opinionated and bitter. You have been warned.

Expanding on Mr. Boffo's point, Heyman has said week in and week out that Brock Lesnar would NEVER get another shot at the WWE Championship. So he booked the "Winner Gets the 29th Spot in the Rumble Just So We Can Say That Nobody's Ever Won the Rumble From Number 30" match between Big Show and Lesnar. Lesnar won the match and the Rumble, giving him a guaranteed WWE Championship match at WrestleMania. Right now, it's supposed to be Brock vs. Angle for the strap. Heyman will probably try to make Brock lose this shot, much like Kurt Angle tried to keep Triple H out of the main event at WrestleMania last year. I wouldn't be at all surprised if we get Lesnar vs. somebody (maybe Team Angle) at No Way Out with the shot at WrestleMania on the line.
