Taker winning the belt on Sunday. OK, hear me out. Rumor has it Brock broke a rib and also that Taker is returning tonight at the Smackdown tapings. Now, a broken rib doesn't really sound like something you work through (could be wrong here) so I'm guessing they're gonna make the title match Triple Threat. Brock doesn't get pinned. Big Show still comes off like a jackass. Taker wins the belt. Everyone's happy. Or...just I'm happy, whatever. Might be a stupid little prediction, but hey, I'd say it's possible...

No, I've heard claims of working through busted ribs many times. Taker, not recently, and Hogan, recently. Can't pick any others off the top of my head, but it's something that happens with reasonable frequency.

I doubt Brock would let the old guys show him up. ;-)

    Dave Scherer, 1wrestling.com
"Brock Lesnar is working with some sort of a rib injury. He is set to go against Big Show at the PPV pretty much no matter how he feels. He has wrestled in pain before in his amateur career and is said to want to do what he has to do this weekend."
So there's your rumor...

It doesn't make any sense to take the belt off Lesnar now. They've done a great job of building him into an unstoppable monster. Keep it that way.

Hogan's full of crap, he had no rib injury
They don't have to take the title off Brock. He rarely wrestles on TV as it is and they could give him some time off house shows.

If they put the title on Big Show, they'll get what they deserve.

DDP worked with bad ribs for like all of 1998.

Vader worked with a cracked sternum for a good bit of 1993, which isn't that bad since they taped about 20 weeks of TV in a few days, but still...

Brock can tough it out. You might have heard this before but, Kurt Angle won a gold medal with a broken Freakin' neck.

There's no way Santino and Kozlov should go over in that match if you are busting out new tag belts and trying to promote a tag division ... unless you are just busting out new belts to bust out new belts.
