I've always wanted to see "Til Death Do Us Part" and "Steptoe and Son" out on DVD, would be interesting to see how they hold up to the American versions. | Freeway

Fawlty Towers was also several kinds of awesome. Red Dwarf was also sweet.

- Seinfeld was a complete disaster, unfortunately. Not that it wasn't nice to see everybody.
- Say what you will about Friends, but I liked it a lot until the last two seasons, and they'd done a bunch of good season finales before. Thankfully, they did more or less what they needed to do, but it wasn't a crescendo that was being built to since they fucked around doing stupid stuff for the last two years. It wasn't very funny either.
- Frasier had the most well done finale of the three, IMO, both in terms of entertainment and in terms of wrapping it up. But the show had already been dead so long that it didn't really matter all that much. The "real" finale was, of course, was the Donnie wedding with the Daphne and Niles blowoff. Everything after that was just superfluous.
But The Office, oh my, The Office. Not only was it hilarious, but the story they told was sooooo marvelously perfect. The two/three big closing moments are, perhaps, the most wonderful things to ever happen. And not just on television. | bash91

As great as the Christmas episodes of The Office were, they just don't compare for me to seeing Bob wake up next to Suzanne Pleshette in their bed.

I just finished watching The Office finale, and I loved it. I agree with everyone, it's perfect.
I'd say Star Trek: The Next Generation is the only show with a finale that's close to The Office, and that ain't saying much.

Also, The Dave Allen Show was classic in dry presentation and The Two Ronnies (a sketch show also with Ronnie Corbett) was freakin' hilarious.
