Too bad, as I was really interest in seeing how the NFC North was going to shake out, and I wanted it to be a fair fight.

It is the policy of the documentary crew to remain true observers and not interfere with its subjects.

It should still be a fair fight since the injuries have a tendency to shake out as the season goes on, but this is a pretty early blow nonetheless. Especially if Pisa Tinoisamoa also misses considerable time.

I'm just surprised no one had picked up Derrick Brooks until (possibly) now.

So, all in all, one of the worst 24-hour spans in Chicago Bears history. I'll give it until halftime next week until the Soldier Field fans start up the 'WE WANT ORTON!' chants

Kirk, crackers are a family food. Happy families. Maybe single people eat crackers, we don't know. Frankly, we don't want to know. It's a market we can do without.

I wonder if at some point during the chase, they'll talk about that Vikings quarterback. I haven't heard a lot about him. Bert something-or-other...

Well certainly the Seattle offense were discussing this very eventuality: Though I have to admit, as soon as he fumbled the snap, I thought Romo would still easily run it in for the touchdown - that was some last ditch tackle by Babineaux.
