Clearly Jenkins has a fear of winning. I can't see wanting to play for the Brew Crew these days, what with the sort of cloud that hangs over Bud, and potential shady accounting in Milwaukee. It's not so much that they are a small market, or in a downturn, as they simply don't seem to want to pull out of their slump.
Well, good luck, Jenkins...or as they say in the theater, "break a leg". Oh, wait...you already did that....ok, it was an ankle. Close enough. At least it wasn't as nasty as the Kendall injury.

To give the Brewers (marginal) credit, they do have some impressive players around the Double A level. Of course, the signing of Jenkins could just be a way to provide the team they dump him to with cost certainty at the trade deadline, thus meaning he could bring back more in a trade than the general rent-a-player.
Latest sign RSN's mind might be fading: The new plan is to vote for Jerry Remy's Wally the Beanbag Buddy as the Democratic Primary for President.

Yeah, their ML system is stacked to my knowledge (Hardy, Hall, Fielder, they have some pitchers too that I cant come up with their names)...did anyone see the Real Sports talking about the Brew Crew?!?!
I think that Jenkins was a smart sign, it looks good to the masses after that Real Sports show, if he gets back to being the Geoff Jenkins he seemed to be becoming for 8 mil thats a pretty good ballplayer at a fair price (some team like the Yanks, Sox, Cubs, etc. will jump on that) and they will get cash/young guys back

Am I the only person who hope this kid signs into the NFL and Roy Williams and Parcells get to let that comment stew for the next 7 months?
Jenkins hasn't played a full season in years. To tell you the truth this doesn't seem like the brightest move for a cash strapped organization, but then again I'm sure they will find a way to trade him before the year is through.
I did the MLB.com thing to watch the games last season and was very satisfied. The radio thing would be good, but I rarely have a radio at hand and don't watch to get an XM - although I have considered it.
